Welcome to the İleri Teknik news hub. Since 1984, İleri Teknik has been manufacturing industrial circular sawing machines and fiber laser cutting systems from Bursa, Turkey, serving metal processing industries worldwide. Here you will find the latest product announcements, industry developments, technical guides and updates from major international exhibitions.
Key trends shaping the metal cutting and fabrication sector worldwide
In 2023, approximately 101,700 industrial robots were deployed in metal fabrication operations globally — and the pace is increasing. Companies are integrating automated circular saws, robotic loading systems, and smart sensors to reduce cycle times and improve consistency. İleri Teknik's Smart 350 MULTICUT and LM 600 loading system are purpose-built responses to this automation trend.
The latest generation of tube laser systems can process tubes and open profiles from 19 mm to 305 mm without set-up time, dramatically reducing changeover losses. High-power fiber lasers now deliver cutting quality on stainless steel and aluminium that was previously only possible with CO₂ lasers. İleri Teknik's Orion F3 pipe laser incorporates these advances for tube and profile cutting applications.
Rising tariffs on steel and aluminium, "Buy Local" policies, and supply chain disruptions are pushing manufacturers across Europe, North America and the Middle East to invest in domestic metal cutting capacity. Aerospace, automotive, construction and medical equipment sectors are particularly active, all requiring reliable circular saw and laser cutting solutions for bar, tube, and profile stock.
EuroBLECH 2026, the world's leading sheet metal working exhibition, is scheduled for 20–23 October 2026 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds. The 28th edition is already seeing strong pre-registration from machinery manufacturers and fabricators. İleri Teknik has participated in past editions of EuroBLECH, EMO Hannover, MACH Birmingham, BUMATECH and STOM-TOOL — see our Events & Fairs page for upcoming appearances.
The European Association of Manufacturing Technologies (CECIMO) has flagged a significant downturn in the machine tool sector, driven by geopolitical tensions, weakened demand from key markets, and intensifying competition. Despite this, Turkey-based manufacturers like İleri Teknik continue to grow export volumes into Europe, the Middle East and beyond, benefiting from competitive production costs and a broad product range.
For high-volume, precision metal cutting of bars, tubes and profiles, cold circular saws remain the preferred choice over band saws and abrasive saws. The key advantages: burr-free cuts, reusable blades (resharpened 30+ times), no heat discolouration, and cycle times measured in seconds.
